On  November 5, 2015 NeoPollard Interactive LLC (“NeoPollard”) announced that it has completed the Internet Responsible Gambling Compliance Assessment Program (“iCAP”) and been fully certified by the National Council on Problem Gambling (“NCPG”). NeoPollard Interactive also congratulated the Michigan Lottery for becoming the first U.S. lottery to obtain iCAP certification.

The Michigan Lottery and NeoPollard Interactive voluntarily sought iCAP certification after collaborating to launch an online games program for the Lottery in 2014.

According to a NeoPollard press release, iCAP is the first program of its kind in the U.S. and provides vendors and operators with an independent assessment of responsible gaming policies based upon standards and best practices from jurisdictions around the world. the Michigan Lottery and NeoPollard Interactive voluntarily sought iCAP certification after collaborating to launch an online games program for the Lottery in 2014.

"We believe that problem gambling must be addressed by vendors and lotteries alike," said Keith Whyte, Executive Director, NCPG. "We applaud NeoPollard Interactive and the Michigan Lottery for meeting or exceeding operational standards for all of the NCPG's specific 30-point criteria in order to achieve iCAP certification."

Doug Pollard, Co-Chief Executive Officer, NeoPollard Interactive, added, "Responsible gaming is now the industry standard for vendors and their lottery partners. In obtaining iCAP certification along with the Michigan Lottery, our goal is to develop socially responsible tools and practices that will protect the interests of players while at the same time maximizing lottery sales and proceeds for good causes in the long-term.
